The first period in East-Timor was exclusively dedicated to work in school projects all over the country, since these infrastructures had been devastated upon Indonesian occupation withdrawal.

In 2008 I returned to Díli to re-join the World Bank in the ministry of Education of East-Timor and later in 2009 I've initiated my private practice as an independent architect in this country.
Meanwhile, I've also worked for "SAVE the CHILDREN" as infrastructure quality supervisor, ensuring the implementation of DRR (disaster risk reduction) programs.

"UMA ARKITETURA" was founded in 2012, together with the architects Filipe Ferreira and Leandro Jardon. This period was mainly focused in interior design projects for corporate companies that were developing and operating in East-Timor.
