PROJECT LOCATION
Luz, Mourão, Portugal
This Project, aimed to relocate an existing village in the southeast region of Protugal (with approx. 500 inhabitants), which would be flooded by the construction of a dam.
It comprehended the design of its urban plan, new basic infrastructures and 204 houses.
Its participatory approach resulted in a reinterpretation of the old village, maintaining the same neighbourhood relations and ensuring to its beneficiaries the restitution of all their construction goods and lands previously assessed and accurately defined.
